We are the Organizing Secretariat of Euroderm Excellence 2013 and we are coming up with this e mail to kindly ask for your support to the programme. This year the number of Residents to be selected in Slovakia is 1 and we need 1 more resident to fulfil the Waiting List  to cover any case of renunciation. Until today we did not received Application Form from Slovakia. So, we kindly ask you to spread the promotion of this event in Slovakia and to speed up residents that wish to apply to this course to fill the Application Form on line (http://www.eurodermexcellence.com/home/), as far as this is necessary to validate their registration. We are leaving the website open even if time is up and the banner indicates that registration are closed. Below we will provide you a brief insight of the event and we will send you in attachment the poster and flyer of Euroderm Excellence 2013 that you could send to interested residents. Following the enormous success of the previous Training Programmes for the best European Residents in Dermatology – Euroderm Excellence, the 10th Training Programme will be held on 13rd – 17th November 2013 in Rome (Italy), under the aegis of the European Dermatology Forum (EDF).
The title is “Where we come from, where we are, and where we are going”.We will focus not only on  giving an „in-depth“ and „hands-on“ course on practical and clinical Dermatology and Venereology, ranging from molecular mechanisms to practical skills but also on showing  how concepts have evolved, how they are reflected in the current knowledge and how they open the ways for the future. The ultimate objective is to stimulate the students‘ critical minds, and the desire to be part of the future story of our discipline“. As usual, Galderma International will be the exclusive sponsor of the 10th Euroderm Excellence Programme via an unrestricted educational grant and will cover the accommodation arrangements, including hotel (single room), breakfasts, lunches and coffee breaks for the Residents. Travel costs will not be covered. Attendance is restricted to Residents in the final year of their training programme and who never participate to previous Euroderm Excellence training programmes. The criteria for the selection of the Residents should include the ability to understand and speak English, an excellent score during their training programme, previous experience in basic or clinical research activity and a high interest and commitment to dermatological research. The resident should have at least 3 years of full time training in Dermato-Venereology excluding common trunk in other disciplines. We are very pleased to hold the 10th European Training Programme for Residents in Dermatology and, we thank you in advance for the support given to our programme. Best regards,The Organizing Secretariat
