Welcome to the website of the 2015 Indonesian National  Symposium, Workshop, and Exhibition in Cosmetic Dermatology “Enhancing Understanding on Skin Pigmentation Disorders”, an event which will be hosted by Indonesian Cosmetic Dermatology Study Group (KSDKI), in collaboration with Indonesian Society of Dermatovenereologists (PERDOSKI) Jakarta Branch and Gatot Soebroto Central Army Hospital (RSPAD Gatot Soebroto). This website is expected to be a forum for the Practicing physicians who want to keep abreast on the latest updates in cosmetic dermatology, especially those associated with pigmentation problems. This forum may also be used by pharmaceutical companies for promotional activities in order to be more widely recognized. Pigmentary disorder is a very common problem in the field of cosmetic dermatology. In the past, this disorder was difficult to overcome. Advances in technology and the improvement of socioeconomic level in recent years greatly influence the behavior and needs of the population. Now almost everyone wants to look attractive. Attractive appearance, especially in the absence of blemishes, will certainly enhance image and self-confidence. Thanks to innovations in the field of cosmetic dermatology achieved so far, both in non-invasive and invasive methods, those desires may now be fulfilled. There are so many novel cosmetics, cosmeceuticals, drugs, methods, and equipments offered with the aim to satisfy those needs, though obviously not all are useful. Hence this event is intended to try to answer all of the problems concerning skin pigmentary disorders. International and national experts will share their knowledge and experiences in dealing with common and difficult cases of pigmentation and cosmetic dermatology in general. We, therefore, cordially invite all colleagues and pharmaceutical companies to participate in the event that will be held at the Gatot Soebroto Central Army Hospital and The Ritz Carlton, Pacific Place, Jakarta on February 27 to March 1, 2015.
